The installation “¡Qué faena(r)!”, designed in collaboration with Óscar Cruz García and Pablo Paradinas, combines tradition and sustainability to highlight local elements. On the rafts designed by Frouma Atlantic Wood, we designed a set of nets inspired by local craftsmanship and circularity.
This ephemeral installation is formed by eight pieces of recycled fishing nets, hand sewn by the Association of Net Makers of A Guarda. Each net is made using their traditional process, revaluing the value of craftsmanship.
